Re: “Abbott: COVID shots for students not mandatory — Governor’s decision to block vaccine mandate counters CDC guidance,” Nov. 18 Metro & Business story.
This is one more example of the hypocrisy in Texas politics. When Texas politicians say “no regulations,” what they mean is no regulations in the boardroom. Regulations in the bedroom and in our private lives are totally fine with them.I don’t get it. By ordering that schools cannot require students to have a COVID-19 vaccination , in effect Gov.
And then we have Sen. Ted Cruz, the king of political hyperbole, warning constituents that this “is a very dangerous bill” that will open the door to persecution for “churches, universities, grade schools and charities.” It’s like pitting all your imaginary victims against the “others,” whose marriages deserve protection from those who blatantly want to “revisit” that constitutional right.Here are answers to some headlines and an obituary from Nov.
