The MP for Bishop Auckland said the condition means she is no longer able to carry out her ministerial role.
Levelling up minister Dehenna Davison has resigned from her role, citing an ongoing battle with chronic migraine.
She said: “Some days I’m fine, but on others it is difficult, if not impossible, to keep up with the demands of ministerial life – and the timing of such days is never predictable. Dehenna Davison said her chronic migraines have had a ‘great impact’ on her ability to carry out her ministerial role She has served as a levelling up minister since September last year, which she said was “an immense privilege that I will forever remember”.
