Some fans were less than pleased
Lewis Capaldi has responded to fans after viewers noticed his keyboard player apparently mouthed "f*** off" during his performance.
One viewer wrote: "Lewis Capaldi's Keyboard player just Mouthed F*£k off at the camera man!! What an unprofessional little turd #NationalTelevisionAwards," and the Someone You Loved singer quickly clapped back: "I agree Pete, totally unacceptable, will be having words. Thanks for bringing it to my attention"
After performing at the NTA's live from Wembley's OVO Arena in London but viewers were left scratching their heads over the sound quality as 'abysmal' after Capaldi's brilliant vocals were not loud and clear. Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Even with the absolutely abysmal sound quality coming from the #NTAs Lewis Capaldi’s brilliant vocals shine through. What a talent.".
Fans quickly took to social media to comment on the Scots stars casual dress at the awards ceremony. One joked: "Lewis Capaldi just rocking up like he’s finished his Greggs shift #NTAs"
