Lewis Hamilton has expressed concerns about his pace in F1 qualifying, admitting he's no longer fast. With his move to Ferrari in 2025, his recent poor performance and admission have raised eyebrows among fans.
The seven-time F1 champion will switch to the legendary Italian squad for 2025 after more than a decade with Mercedes. By the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in March, Hamilton will be 40 and there are concerns that the British hero has lost out-and-out pace over one lap.
When it was put to Hamilton that his poor qualifying form can’t just be down to him, he replied: “Who knows. I’m definitely not fast anymore.” Hamilton has proved this season that he's not done yet at the front of the grid, winning in both Belgium and Britain. Having made those comments last year, he showed emphatically that he's still got it, as he'll be gunning to do next season with Ferrari.
