Police investigating the murder of Liam Christie in Antrim last week have arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of murder and firearms offences.
Mr Christie, 43, was shot in a house where he had been residing in the Craighill area. He was a father to three sons.The man was arrested in the Antrim area on Friday afternoon and remains in custody at this time assisting with police enquiries. PSNI Detective Chief Inspector Anthony Kelly said tonight: “Our investigation into this appalling murder is ongoing and I continue to appeal to the public for information.
