Liam Cooper awaiting fresh contract talks after rejecting summer departure
The report claims Cooper asked Leeds United to extend his contract for another 12 months, with the centre-half currently in the last 12 months of his deal. However, the foot injury he sustained in the Championship curtain raiser with Cardiff City closed the door on a move away from Elland Road, but also put contract talks on hold.Hay claims the club are likely re-open talks after the turn of the year.
