Liam Payne has confused fans as he spoke about Will Smith punching Chris Rock at the Oscars on Good Morning Britain.
“I’m going to be honest with you, Will Smith actually used to live behind my house,” he began. "I actually know his son and daughter very well. We did Men in Black 3 with him. Viewers soon shared their thoughts on Liam's unusual twang, as one tweeted: “Watching @GMB and what the hell has happened to Liam Payne’s accent?!’ one asked. ‘He has an American twang but at times he sounds like he isn’t even English!’A third tweeted: “Why is the world not talking about Liam Payne’s bizarre new accent.”Liam is originally from Wolverhampton, but has lived in Hollywood for several years, which may account for the unusual accent.
