In what turned out to be his final post, the singer paid a tribute to American documentary filmmaker, writer and TV producer Morgan Spurlock.
Liam shared a photo of himself stood next to Morgan, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik. Alongside the photo, Liam wrote: "Rest in peace Morgan Spurlock it was a pleasure working with you." Fans flooded the post with tributes following the shock news of his death.

The singer shot to fame as part of boy band One Direction after they were formed on the X Factor. He made his debut as a singer in 2008 when he auditioned for the ITV singing show.
