Smith was forced to postpone the original date due to an injury, with Eubank Jr then opening talks with Conor Benn over a showdown. "He fights Conor Benn in probably an easier fight for himself, earning more money, so I feel he did want to fight Conor next, but that wasn’t available, so he had to take the rematch."
"Me and Joseph were in the same amateur gym. So I have been around them my whole life, so they know me as good as anybody. "I would bite your hand off to challenge again and be a two-time world champion, but I just want to be in big fights that get me off the couch.
