Due to a packing error, cereals containing gluten were not declared on the labels of the soup sold in Lidl supermarkets - which makes them unsafe to consume for some people

Due to a packaging error, cereals containing gluten were not declared on the label.

You might get bloated, nauseous or gassy. Gluten intolerance causes a lot of the same symptoms as celiac disease, but it's not the same condition. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that leads to damage to the digestive tract. The food alert comes after the FSAI recently issued a major recall of lunchtime staples due to the risk of a potentially "severe" infection.
