Light aircraft makes emergency landing on streets in San Marcos [Breaking]
A Cessna light aircraft made an emergency landing in San Marcos on Saturday, and sheriff’s deputies are responding.
The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. near the busy intersection of South Rancho Santa Fe Road and Melrose Drive in San Marcos. The plane struck a vehicle as it was landing, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department tweeted. All the passengers in the airplane and the car were treated for minor injuries, the department reported.This is a breaking news story that will be updated when more information become available.
