Cian Lynch has become one of the most talked about hurlers since he made the jump from underage to senior hurling with Limerick .
Hurling Career After winning back-to-back Munster Minor Championship with Limerick Cian joined the under-21 team. He played a central role in the team's All-Ireland Under-21 Championship wins in 2015 and 2017. Age and Where He's From Cian was born on January 3, 1996, making him 28 years old. He hails from the village of Patrickswell, outside Limerick city.
Girlfriend Dayna Slattery and Baby News Cian went public with his girlfriend Dayna Slattery following Limerick's All-Ireland win in 2023. They later stepped out for Declan Hannon's lavish wedding to Today FM presenter Louise Cantillon. Announcing the exciting news, Cian shared a picture showing off Dayna's baby bump on Instagram as they enjoyed a lazy day together. He could be seen with his hand resting on her growing belly.Hurling Family Cian is the nephew of Limerick legend Ciaran Carey, one of the county's most prominent players in the 90s.
"That’s the harsh reality of life Marty. It’s great going out hurling and it’s a massive zone for us to switch off and forget about things, but personally it’s just been huge for my family," he told Marty Morrissey on RTÉ Radio 1's Morning Ireland.
