She abused the victim's trust and vulnerability

A Lincoln woman has been ordered to repay more than £3,000 she fraudulently obtained from an elderly victim.

Lovegrove had been providing care for the 87-year-old woman, who had dementia and was housebound physical health problems.The carer's employer, DS Care at Home, confirmed Lovegrove had been on duty on all of the fraudulent transaction dates. Lovegrove acted alone and there is no suggestion of any malpractice by the firm, which cooperated fully with the investigation.PC Kat Braithwaite from the Lincoln Neighbourhood Policing Team .
