Lloyds Pharmacy shuts all Sainsbury's branches today 🏥 Hundreds of patients affected across Lincolnshire
Lloyds Pharmacy will close all 237 of its branches inside Sainsbury’s supermarkets by the end of Tuesday – leaving Lincolnshire patients with four less options.
An official date was never placed on this, but it has now been reported that a decision has been made to close all the Lloyds Pharmacy sites inside Sainsbury’s supermarkets today. The closures will affect around 2,000 jobs nationally, and leave locals with even fewer pharmacy options. The practice told MyLocal last month: “Unfortunately, it is inevitable that this short notice closure of this branch of Lloyds pharmacy is going to cause problems for some patients and an increased workload in the surgery.
