Five days after England's triumphant win, Jill tweeted: 'Back to reality and I love it! Shift done at Boxx2boxx coffee shop. Thanks to everyone that came to say hello! Your support is really appreciated.'
Just days after making history at the Euros, Jill Scott was back in Manchester for a shift at her coffee shop. The 35-year-old midfielder is the co-owner of Boxx2Boxx in Northenden. She opened it with her fiancé Shelly Unitt a year ago.
Jill is one of England's most capped players having racked up a whopping 150 caps and played in nine major tournaments, since making her debut back in 2006. The roaming midfielder became a cult hero and went viral during the tournament after a slo-mo video of her swearing at a Germany player was shared across multiple platforms.
Earlier this week Jill's partner, Shelly, spoke to the MEN about Lioness’ Euros win at Wembley, and how it had affected business. She said: “Since the Euros have been on, obviously it’s very busy anyway if I’m being totally honest, but then when Jill is in the shop, it just goes completely manic, wild.
“On the Euros, for the day that it kicked off, it went ballistic. We had to have like five staff in, there were queues out the door, everyone was just coming in, from all over the country though.
