Ant McPartlin's ex-wife Lisa Armstrong was reportedly left heartbroken when she had to find out that he was expecting his first child with wife Anne-Marie Corbett through the press - despite the fact they were said to be 'friendly' at the time
Lisa Armstrong 's close friend has called out her ex-husband Ant McPartlin for the heartbreaking way she found out he had become a dad.
READ MORE: Ant McPartlin welcomes first child with wife Anne-Marie Corbett and reveals incredible name Following the news of Ant's new fatherhood journey, Lisa's close friend has said that the star was left 'heartbroken' when she discovered that the Geordie TV presenter was set to become a father with his new wife, given that while she was in a relationship with the star for over two decades, they never welcomed any children together. Ant and Lisa called time on their relationship six years ago, in 2018.
They added: "It is so very sad. It broke poor Lisa, she gave him 23 years of her life, practically all of her adult life. Then when Ant is to be a dad he didn't even have the decency to tell her. She had to read about it in the Mail. What makes it all the more traumatic is that she and Anne-Marie were friends."
