When Lisa Jordan walked into her dream home, it had been left abandoned for years — holes were in the ceiling and it had started to fall into a derelict state. However, the fashion and beauty entrepreneur could see past the neglect and immediately felt a sense of family.
“I loved my family home so much and I was always in awe of my dad for building it, and for my parents for creating such a lovely place to live in. This home is really about family, I wanted it for my children and I wanted it for us.” In the magazine, which is out today Lisa explains that she was viewing another house in the area when she spotted her dream home. The only catch? It wasn’t actually for sale. Lisa didn’t let that minor detail get in the way, and three years the home was hers.
