Lisa Kudrow has spoken about being fired from the popular sitcom Frasier Lisa Kudrow has revealed she was fired from Frasier after being cast as one of the main characters. The actress, 61, may have gone on to star in Friends, one of the most popular sitcoms of all time but earlier missed out on a massive career opportunity.
Although her agent wanted her to turn it down, Lisa was ‘not in a position to say no’, but impressed producers and was asked to return for five more episodes that led to her being cast in Friends. However, she did share she was the only cast member of the sitcom, which also starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, who had to audition for Friends as she ‘had just gotten fired from Frasier’ and James was directing that series too.
