It caused a lot of disruption
. On Thursday, flights in Dublin Airport were suspended for 30 minutes after there was a report of a drone sighting in the area . Two flights were diverted to Belfast and one to Shannon during that period and the suspension caused a knock-on delay for many flights throughout the day.
Gardaí have said they are investigating the alleged sighting of a drone around the area at Dublin Airport but no arrests have been made in relation to the incident. A pilot reported to Air Traffic Control that they'd spotted a drone while they were approaching the airport, who took action by suspending flights and carrying out a search of the area.
