Dún Laoghaire Coast Guard, the RNLI and Rescue 116, An Garda Síochána, the National Ambulance Service and Dublin Fire Brigade all attended the scene of the incident
A major rescue operation was launched last night, and involved Gardai, Dublin Fire Brigade, Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard, the RNLI and the National Ambulance Service.
It is not known how the girl entered the water, but it’s believed the girl was swept out to sea while walking. "The team could transfer her very quickly, get her into the warm, and our own team could start basic first aid while the fire brigade arrived about two minutes later."
