The online retailer, now trading under the name Very, had been boosted by the impact of lockdowns
The return of in-person shopping, as well as the rising cost of living, wiped more than €30 million off the revenues of online retailer Very, formerly Littlewoods Ireland, last year.
Recently filed accounts show Shop Ireland, which owns the Very brand, recorded turnover of €95.1 million in its 2021/22 financial year – down from €126.8 million in the previous trading period, which was a record year for the business due to lockdown-induced online shopping.
