A large police cordon has been put in place cutting off a Leeds street with officers standing guard at the scene.
West Yorkshire Police have taped off Spencer Place in Chapeltown, Leeds, this morning, along with smaller back streets coming off the main road. Several police officers can be seen standing guard. The nature of the crime scene is not known at this stage, however we have reporter Samuel Port at the scene and he will be bringing you updates as they come in.Photographs taken by a resident show the tape stretching the width of Spencer Place, with at least three officers also at the scene.LeedsLive has launched a WhatsApp community and anyone who joins will get the latest breaking news and top stories sent direct to their phone.
