Emergency services have blocked a main road in Westhoughton this afternoon following reports of a serious crash.
Posting on Facebook, Councillor David Chadwick for Westhoughton South wrote: "ACCIDENT WIGAN ROAD HART COMMON. She has spent 25 years campaigning for road safety measures along Wigan Road and previously was successful in having the speed limit changed to 30mph.
