Bottas has endured a difficult season so far but has shown pace that could see him feature in Q3 throughout the weekend.Leclerc registers his first time of the session and falls 0.433 shy of Perez. Meanwhile, Sainz is second and just 0.066s behind pacesetter Perez.The track is now getting significantly more busy with 11 drivers currently lapping. All drivers are on the soft Pirelli rubber.While we were focusing on Ocon, Perez completed his effort to go fastest with a 1m 15.641s.
Single lap pace is almost everything in Monaco, so don't expect teams to focus too much on long runs.One of the key talking points coming into the weekend was the significant upgrade package expected from Mercedes. And 'significant' was certainly the correct way to describe the updates, with six key changes made,Conditions are once again glorious in the Principality, with the sun beaming down on the iconic layout.
