Reports suggested there's three miles of congestion on approach causing 30 min delays above normal travel time.National Highways tweeted: "Lanes 1 and 2 are closed on the M1 north between J26 and J27 near Nottingham due to a vehicle fire. The fire has been extinguished. Lanes 1 & 2 remain closed for recovery and clean up.
