The cordon is in place due to a "possible unsafe bulding" near to a block of apartments, The Angus pub and businesses on Dale Street. Reporter Florence Freeman is at the scene, she spoke to people there who believe the "possible unsafe building" may be the disused building, behind Dale Street, that is up for let.A spokesperson for Merseyside police told the ECHO: "It appears to relate to a possible unsafe building. The city council are aware and dealing."The cordon on Dale Street covers a number of businesses, including the Angus pub and Hockenhall alleyway.
