During a closed case management hearing last month, Mike Nolin and Morris Bodnar said they didn’t think they could continue to represent Fertuck, who is accused of the disappearance and death of his estranged wife Sheree, after learning Fertuck filed a complaint against them with the Law Society of Saskatchewan in May and June, without telling them.We deliver the local news you need in these turbulent times on weekdays at 3 p.m.
Justice Richard Danyliuk ordered a government-funded lawyer be appointed for the sole purpose of advising Fertuck before and during Monday’s hearing. Sheree Fertuck disappeared from a Kenaston-area gravel pit in December 2015. Her body has never been found.
