Liverpool are said to be keen on offloading the 20-year-old on loan, and have told RB Leipzig where to go after their 'derisory' bid.

Liverpool dismiss ‘derisory’ Leipzig bid for young star despite ‘not the best year’ Klopp admissionRB Leipzig’s supposedly ‘big money’ offer for Fabio Carvalho has reportedly been ‘dismissed as derisory’ by Liverpool.

Reports on Monday revealed the Reds had received a ‘big-money bid’ from a Champions League club and it’s now claimed it was RB Leipzig, who finished third in the Bundesliga, who tabled the offer.journalist Paul Joyce claims that bid has been ‘dismissed as derisory’, adding that Liverpool ‘will resist permanent offers’ but ‘will listen to loan proposals’.

It’s thought the 20-year-old is eager for more game time elsewhere and Leipzig may well be an attractive club for Liverpool to send him to on loan, given their involvement in the Champions League. “No player has impressed me more than Fabio, that’s the truth. Because this kind of very talented boy came here with big dreams and big expectations, it was OK in the beginning but didn’t work out in the end.
