Former Aston Villa coach backs Steven Gerrard to return to the Premier League as a manager in the future

Former Aston Villa goalkeeper coach Neil Cutler has backed Steven Gerrard to return to the Premier League as a manager in the future.

As such, it meant Cutler formed a close relationship with Gerrard during his eleven months at Villa Park and he believes the former Liverpool midfielder will be a success in his next managerial role. “I think with Stevie, he’s got so much knowledge and he’s still really young for a manager. While he was manager of the football club [Aston Villa], we were really unlucky with injuries at the time.

Another coach who Cutler worked closely with during his time at Villa Park is current Rangers boss Michael Beale.
