Liverpool legend John Barnes has urged Liverpool to go after Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, who’s been linked with a move to Tottenham this summer.
But Barnes reckons he would be a great addition for former club Liverpool, as Jurgen Klopp looks to rebuild his midfield this summer, with the 24-year-old’s versatility a particularly attractive prospect.: “I love him. I love him. I think he’s a fantastic player. He’s an attacking midfield player with a good attitude. He can play one touch, two touch and can dribble, pass and score goals.”
“Whether Liverpool are interested is another thing but he would fit into the team as one of the three midfield players, as a number ten or as a wide forward.”Barnes was also asked about Darin Nunez’s first season at Liverpool, in which the Uruguay international has managed 15 goals in all competitions, as well as four assists.
