Tony Eustance taught hundreds of children through the years
A former Liverpool teacher and 'local legend' is still visited by pupils he taught decades ago. Born in Edinburgh, Tony Eustance, now 83, grew up in Liverpool and is still remembered by the children he taught in Speke back in the 1960s and 1970s. When the school became Speke Comprehensive, Tony began teaching drama alongside other subjects when drama in schools was still in its infancy.
'I'm no longer a quiet, unassuming human being, I'm now the opposite. From there on, it was like a life-changing experience.' Ron said that the skills he developed from Tony have lasted him a lifetime and that he doesn't think he would have them without Tony's influence.
