Athletic Bilbao president Jon Uriarte believes Nico Williams will have faith in the project in place in the Basque country to dissuade him from a move elsewhere. Liverpool have been linked with a number of attackers in recent seasons, more recently in the summer as Mohamed Salah's future became uncertain.
Williams has impressed for Bilbao and at the tender age of 21, provides an exciting prospect to clubs around the world - not just Liverpool. Uriarte thinks that the plans in place for Williams are enough to persuade him to commit his future in Bilbao. He said: "We are calm. We want an attractive project for Nico and other players, like Unai Gomez, who renewed his contract this week. "We trust that Nico will find the project attractive, and we believe that will be the case.
