An inspirational Lanarkshire woman has dedicated almost 50 years of her life to helping young girls enrich their lives and achieve their goals.

“There are generations of us who have grown up with her, and honestly you should see the messages thanking her on the 5th Motherwell Facebook page. “We went through our Duke of Edinburgh Awards and done lots of camps all over the country. Elizabeth would always try to make it as affordable as possible for the girls as we didn’t live in an affluent area.
