Kiara Mooring competes in 'Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls,' a different kind of reality show.
“That’s exactly what I was looking for,” she says. So Mooring applied for the show last spring. She got the call a week later.“It was an exhilarating experience all the way through,” she tells NJ Advance Media.
Mooring was already a Lizzo fan — her favorite songs are “Coconut Oil” and “Worship” — but the multi-hyphenate singer exceeded her positive reputation. Meeting her was “better than I ever could have imagined,” she says. “She always had that trained eye,” Mooring says, and she offered her daughter plenty of constructive criticism.
