Loose Women star Ruth Langsford appeared to make a cheeky dig at her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes during a segment on the ITV chat show which resulted in an abrupt cut to an ad break
During an episode of Loose Women, there was a swift shift to adverts just after Ruth Langsford seemed to have a cheeky jab at her former hubby Eamonn Holmes . The 64 year old telly host publicly ended things with ex-colleague and long-term partner Eamonn, also 64, in May this year.
Yet it was one particular discussion that caught Ruth's ear – the debate about whether parents should ever make their grown kids pick between them or their love interest. Kicking off the chat, Mariella stated: "I just think it's madness. You know for a fact no matter what position you take in your child's life if you entrench yourself too deeply they are going to do the opposite thing anyway.
Coleen chimed in with her thoughts, noting: "I think it is important for parents to let their children find out for themselves and it might work out and they spend the rest of their lives together but it might be that they end up heartbroken and that's when as a parent you step in," reports the Mirror.
Mariella Frostrup quickly interjected with, "That's a whole other subject isn't it? How to divorce well."
