A High Court judge has granted Michael Flatley an interim order restraining a receiver from taking steps in relation to his Cork mansion, Castelhyde, following a dispute over a €5.6 million loan secured by the property.
A High Court judge has granted an interim order to Michael Flatley , star of Lord of the Dance, restraining a receiver or his agents from taking any steps in relation to the star’s Cork mansion, Castelhyde. The property was put up as security for a €5.6 million loan taken out by his London film company in 2023. A receiver was appointed over Castelhyde due to a dispute over loan repayment. Michael Flatley maintains that all loan repayments have been made in full by the film company.
He argues that the appointment of a receiver is injuring his personal and property rights, as Castelhyde is his home in Ireland
