An HGV lorry has jackknifed on the A702, causing the road to be shut down to motorists
Road cops were alerted to the lorry blocking the road on Saturday December 10, on the A702 near Easter Howgate in Midlothian. Officers announced just before 3pm they closed off the road while the vehicle is recovered with diversions in place.
Police Scotland posted on Twitter and said road closures 'remain in place' this afternoon on the A702. "The lorry is still in situ and temporary road closures have been implemented to allow for recovery of the vehicle, which is on going." However, speaking to the Record earlier, Police Scotland confirmed no-one had been hurt in any of these accidents.
