“I grew up with people telling me my dad talked sh*te for a living' lottieryan 2fm
Lottie Ryan has revealed that she isn’t worried about son Wolf’s reaction to having a well known mum as he grows up, as she takes the same practical viewpoint as her late father Gerry.
“I grew up with people telling me my dad talked sh*te for a living, so it just doesn't bother me,” she told RSVP.“And I was brought up being told that the person people have the opinion of wasn't the person at home at the dinner table. It's an exaggerated version. It's a performer. You know, it's not who comes in the front door.
"And also we were constantly told, that's how we're fed. And that's how the electricity goes on. And that's just the end of it. So you keep a smile on your face and you nod your head and you get on with things.”
