After years of speculation, Lotus has released their first-ever SUV and at the same time, first dedicated electric model, called the Eletre, to somewhat of a mixed reception.
Some are of the belief that Lotus should never make an SUV, let alone an electric one, while others feel that it’s aif they want the company to stay afloat and continue producing sports cars, and some are just genuinely excited for the prospect of an SUV with Lotus pedigree that starts at 592 hp and a sub-3-second 0-62 mph time.
The configurator offers plenty of customization options to play around with. The process starts with the exterior, where you’re given the choice of six different colors. Of course, the car is offered in various shades of white, black, and grey, but there are also some more lively options in the form of green, yellow, and red.
