A Love Island couple from this year's series has split up, with the two taking to social media to announce the news
The couple met on this series of the ITV 2 programme and reached the final alongside the likes of winners Mimii and Josh, Ayo and Jess and Ciaran and Nicole. During a challenge, Matilda and sweet salesman Sean were even voted the least compatible couple in the villa.

She concluded the simple statement with a 'love you all' and added a heart emoji. Sean shared a similar statement on his own page and added: "We both believe this is the best step for us moving forward.
One podcast follower said in the YouTube comment section: "They don’t seem that compatible, I expect a breakup announcement in a few weeks after the hype dies down. She doesn’t seem that into him." Another unconvinced user added: "They don't seem like a convincing couple." However, Sean recently admitted that what took place in the villa has stayed there as he assured his bond with Joey remained intact, branding claims of a feud "fake news." Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: "Me and Joey was a bit of a surprise for me to come out to 'there's this feud and the friendship has broken down', but it's all fake news."
