Love Island fans have called for the show to ditch the “dull” money twist at the end of the final after winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon split the £50,000 prize.
After picking the envelope containing the jackpot, host Laura Whitmore asked Millie if she was going to: “Split or steal?” Branding it “dull”, one wrote on Twitter: “They seriously need to scrap this splitting money thing, it’s dull #LoveIsland”.A third wrote: “They need to just get rid of the money twist lol, literally no one is ever going to steal and it just kills the moment #LoveIsland”.
Dancing On Ice winner James thinks the show needs to up the ante and increase the amount on money on offer to see a steal.
