These earnings could be about to jump after the show
While many of the finalists will go on to lucrative careers through sponsorship deals, many of the contestant featured in the hit reality TV show will return to their ordinary jobs.
Using data calculating average salaries, here is a projection of some of this year's contestant's annual salaries. The 25-year-old started her business, Candy Corner, which supplies wigs and hair extensions, during her time as a student at university and is estimated to have earned around £58,625 a year.Her partner Lochan was working as an account manager before joining Love Island.
She has appeared in several music videos and was an extra in the film World War Z. She could earn up to £50,000 a year as a model, and £437-a-week on average for appearing in music videos.The semi-professional footballer played in central midfield for Lewes FC before joining Love Island.
