presenter Maya Jama has revealed the surprising moment she was stopped by an immigration official on a recent trip to America to talk about the hit reality series.- host Maya Jama shared how the show continues to hook viewers in the most unexpected of places.
Jama recalled her conversation with the US immigration officer whilst travelling to New York. "I was in the airport recently going to America and the woman at immigration was telling me how much she loved the show," she said. "I wasn’t asked any questions about why I was in the country, but instead everything that went down last series," she added, joking of the show's appeal: "It’s not even celebrities, it's just everywhere I go." Jama made her presenting debut on the show back in January 2023, hosting the Winter edition of the programme set in South Africa.
