Jacques decided to quit the show as he wasn't feeling himself, telling his fellow Islanders:"For me and Paige to work, I need to be me best" and he revealed that he would wait for her on the outside.
However, Paige ended up coupling up with Adam, but she admitted she thought about leaving with Jacques.
Paige admitted that she had a feeling Jacques might leave, but she could"never have sat there and asked him to stay". She explained:"Honestly, I had a feeling that he was going to leave. It was really hard hearing him say it out loud, but I knew there was nothing I could say to make him want to change his mind.
