Love Island 2023's Sammy Root surprised many viewers this week, as he revealed how old he was - but not everyone believed him
Sammy was the latest bombshell to cause chaos, as his arrival meant one boy would be going home after the recoupling.
Amid her romance with Mitchel, she tells Sammy she is not closed off just yet revealing he might have a chance with her.As Sammy entered the villa, he introduced himself to viewers and revealed he was 22 years of age.As some fans joked he was lying about his age, others were convinced the given age had to be wrong as he "looks older".
Another fan commented: "Sammy is 22?! LOOOOOOL," as a fourth fan wrote: "SAMMY IS 22?? MY GUY LOOKING 30." George Fensom was sent home after the arrival of bombshell Sammy, as the girls had to pick which boy to couple up with.
