, who celebrated his 37th birthday last month, tees off early on day one with a 7.52am start alongside Fleetwood and Aberg — that's 12.51pm Irish time. The Holywood native claimed his US Open title at Congressional 15 years ago and heads into the third major of the season in solid form. Shane Lowry, runner-up at the 2016 US Open, is grouped with Chilean Joaquin Niemann and American Alex Smalley.

The trio tee off at 6.47pm Irish time on Thursday evening — 1.47pm local time — from the tenth tee. Fellow former US Open champion Graeme McDowell gets going at 12.19pm Irish time, partnered with Patrick Rodgers and Keith Mitchell. Current US Senior Open champion Padraig Harrington will tee off alongside amateur Miles Russell and LIV star Cameron Smith at 12.19pm Irish time.
