Luton Town manager Nathan Jones felt the better side lost as his side were beaten 1-0 by Preston North End on Saturday.
After taking the lead in the first half, PNE defended well and saw the game out, including eight minutes of stoppage time.
"We knew they'de be a difficult side. We have a really good record here against Preston, they would have known that. "I've no problem with Preston are a good side and their manager is excellent and they have players that know the level.The Welshman cut a frustrated figure after his side’s defeat and felt the opening goal was crucial.
He said: “It's frustrating for a number of reasons. First, we concede a poor, well, they can say it's a good goal. "I said to the boys before the game, to get the first goal because it's very difficult to chase the game in this weather and in the current climate.
