He remained on the ground for several minutes receiving medical attention before being carried off on a stretcher.from hospital surrounded by friends and family. Speaking to Sky Sports News after the Hatters' promotion, Luton Town manager Rob Edwards got emotional when shown the photo of Lockyer in hospital."He's been immense for us this season. Health and family is the most important thing, more important than football."
Speaking to Sky Sports News on Sunday morning, Edwards said Lockyer was in"good spirits" as he recovers in hospital and was being well looked after.
