The M60 in Greater Manchester has reopened after a police incident closed the motorway between J20 and J21 . Emergency services including North West Motorway Police Group were in attendance at the scene.
The clockwise and anti-clockwise carriageways were closed as a result of the incident. Diversion routes were put in place. An update from traffic monitoring service Inrix at 4.15am said: "M60 in both directions re-opened, police incident over from J20 A664 Manchester New Road to J21 A6104 ." Transport for Greater Manchester confirmed in a tweet just after 4am that the incident had concluded and the M60 had reopened.
