The M65 incident is between junctions five and six near Blackburn and 'delays are beginning to build'
Traffic on the M65 near Blackburn has been brought to a standstill due to a 'police incident'.
Lancashire Constabulary said emergency services are at the scene on the eastbound carriageway just before junction six. The motorway is currently closed in both directions between junctions five and six. Motorists are being asked for their patience and to avoid the area where possible. National Highways North West says there is one mile of congestion in both directions so far and 'just prior to Junction 6 Eastbound is currently closed in both directions due to an ongoing police incident.
